MotoGP: Misano

The home-cirucuit to Valentino Rossi, Misano, full of tight-twisty corners and bursts of straights, Misano has everything.

It was all running smoothly for championship leader Rossi, especially when he finally got by Pedrosa and luckily Lorenzo was behind him.

Rossi built up a lead of 1.4 seconds until Lorenzo finally found a way to overtake Pedrosa and try lower Rossi’s lead with only 14 laps remaining. Rossi put the hammer down and raised the gap to 2.6 seconds within the next few laps.

Rossi took the chequered flag with Lorenzo in 2nd and finally Pedrosa in 3rd but I also have to mention Dovisiozo who came in 4th after a tough battle with Capirossi, great race for him. Rossi leads the championship with 237 points, 30 ahead of Lorenzo.

The next race is at Estoril in 4 weeks time.
