All 4 Grand Slams For Federer!
7 June 2009 – 5:08pmToday was a historic day in the world of Tennis, Roger Federer joins Fred Perry, Don Budge, Roy Emerson, Rod Laver and Andre Agassi as the only men to have won all four Grand Slam titles, he finally claimed the French Open (Roland Garros).
Federer wrapped up a 6-1 7-6 (7-1) 6-4 victory against Robin Soderling in 1 hour and 55 minutes. With this win Federer has also equalled Pete Sampras’s all-time record of 14 Grand Slam titles, with Wimbledon just around the corner Federer will now be the hot favourite to go and take the title there too.
