Small Blog Updates & Injured Ankle

18 February 2009 – 2:19pm

Well the past few weeks I’ve been really busy in real life with things such as: cinema, bowling, pub, ice skating, dancing, pub quiz, work… that’s just to name a few!

Anyway, I’ve found some time to update the Blog a little, as you will notice from the archives this version (blog) of my website has been active for just over a year now and it’s still as pretty looking as ever, I’ve changed the search box (on the right) to be in its own holder, if you type something into this box and hit search, my blog will try find blog entries I’ve posted with the words you contain, as an example if you type WordPress into the box you will get this result. Give it a try, you might find something you weren’t even expecting!

You’ll also notice I’ve added a blog-photo (on the right also), this is to replace the old pictures of me in the About section, also, this will be updated every time I change my hair colour as lately I’ve been changing my hair colour like it’s going out of fashion, Kira is to blame for me changing my hair colour, it’s great though, thanks for that and everything else Kira, you’re a diamond!

I’ve also injured my ankle (on Sunday) we went for a kick-about and I was going to do a full power shot at the keeper (Jack) and instead I fully smashed the floor, instantly in so much pain I hobbled off to the side of the pitch, went to get it checked out at the hospital and I’ve done damage to both my calcaneo fibular and anterior talofibular ligaments (click for a diagram), they’re not severely damaged but I was recommended not to play football or run on it heavily for 4-6 weeks, however, I have training tonight and a very important game on Sunday so I doubt that will happen, with one of our strikers breaking his leg in 2 places in our last game (2 weeks ago) we need all the help we can get, so you should probably expect another blog probably tomorrow morning saying that I’ve fully broke my ankle or done further ligament damage, hopefully not though, I’m a bit optimistic about this for some reason.
