Pre-season Sunday League Football Match

So what has been goin’ on in my busy life these days?

I’ll tell you; I’ve been speaking to a mate of mine (Dan) about starting up a 5-side indoor football team and entering a league and seeing how we do.

On top of all that, I went to a pre-season friendly match today (for Sunday League), I played in goal (with my broken finger, metacarpal dodgy hand and wrist) today in the game I totally broke my finger (and the one next to it) and metacarpal, and broke my hand too, oh and if that wasn’t enough, my wrist has totally gone too.

Anyway, I only went there to really see how I do, it ended 2:2 (I played out-field for the last 10 minutes, I was in goal for the first 80 minutes, I played the full 90 minutes), I personally thought my performance was terrible, playing with a practically broken hand to start with is a bit stupid too, but, I must have done something good because the team want me back on Wednesday for their next pre-season match.

It’s been a very good weekend for myself and to top it all off, it’s bank-holiday Monday tomorrow, which means I don’t have work!
