Name Stealing To A Whole New Level
22 July 2008 – 11:35pmNow this may just be me reading into things a bit too deep but I’m sure it isn’t and that the world is wrong and I’m right (lol).
Now I’m sure you’ve seen the “3″ and “3 Hit U”s out there in the world of RuneScape, aka name stealers, but have you seen them in real life, more specifically, the supermarket? I’m sure you have.
Examples such as Lynx and Adidas both brought out a new deoderant called “3″, clearly, that’s my RuneScape name becoming famous in real life and they’re jumping on the band-wagon and earning a bucket load of cash from my name.
If that wasn’t enough, there is even a phone company out there called “3″, this is unreal!
Oh and if that wasn’t enough, Mr PimpMyRide (aka Xzibit) made a song called “Hit U” and it’s even track “3″ on his Man vs Machine album.
Quite shocking really

MisterCow: I see you’re a new name here and missed when he completely ripped Draynor.net’s dynamic signatures (and still is, actually,) their complete site layout, and then took “heavy inspiration” of draynor.net in the creation of the domain name falador.info.
And if he was the creator of the name 3 Hit U, why would he need to put so many spaces between the letters? Seems like somebody else had registered “3 Hit U” first.

devlin, it seems you’re very confused here’s some facts:
Draynor.net didn’t make “signatures” first, they were released long before that, there was an open-source version of Draynor’s layout which I did use to begin with then MisterCow coded all my new signature code for me (he’s a great guy).
The name 3 Hit U was triple spaced because it looked cool with the “3 round” / “3 hit” system on Classic, it all tied in with one another.
The domain “falador.info” is only a place holder for my signatures at the moment, the real purpose of the domain is still behind closed doors at the moment, part of a huge project.

1) Draynor didn’t invent them, but there’s no denying your’s have a “large similarity” for lack of a better word (read: they’re exactly the same.)
