MotoGP: Jerez Qualifying
29 March 2008 – 9:00pmWell, I wasn’t planning on writing blogs for the Qualifying for any MotoGP, however, Jorge Lorenzo totally blitzed the old 990cc lap record using the 800cc MotoGP bikes that they use now!
Well over half a second ahead of the field I think he’ll do very well in the race tomorrow, I can’t wait to see the race!
Also, I think Colin Edwards‘ save is well worth a mention, it isn’t everyday that a rider comes off a bike at over 65mph (104kph) and lifts the bike up whilst still going around the corner, gets back up and carries on riding, it was phenomenal to see!
I also must say I’m very impressed with Vale‘s performance as he’s starting from scratch this season basically with his switch from Michelin to Bridgestone tyres. I personally think he’ll win tomorrows race so keep your eyes open for him, good luck to all the riders.
Oh, and on a personal note, get well soon James.
