First Match In My Vapors
1 December 2008 – 1:16pmI said I’d say how the match went so here we are, I’ll keep this as short as I can…
First half we played well and our Kepper got smacked in the face by a strikers knee, Jack carried on though (otherwise I’d of had to replace him). We went down by 2 goals at half time (2-0 to them).
Second half I got subbed on (have a bad back at the moment) and only played the last 20 minutes, in this time I created several chances, out-paced everybody, smashed a terrific 30-45 yard ball up the field to our Strikers (I was playing Right-Wing) this was the talk of the game afterwards, a stunning ball I must admit and if that wasn’t enough a free-kick came our way, I ran past the Defenders (I was onside) the ball bounced off our opponents Defender, I played the ball into the middle of the 6-yard box and Mark (or Rob) tucked the ball into the net, the Referee disallowed the goal and stated I was offisde.
Oh, and someone on the opposing team called the Referee a “cheating cunt” and got a yellow card.
Other than that, it was a pretty sweet game, sadly we only managed a 2-1 loss, training is on Wednesday (using my v1.08 Puma Astro’s) and our game on this coming Sunday (Vapor IV’s) is a must win league game.
